Baby won- liver next

It was bound to be. Babies are on a more stable environment fot timing than livers. Annie went into labor Friday afternoon. Simeon Gregory was born at 0437 on 25 Sept. On Annie’s birthday. Happy birthday Annie! She was kicked out from the hospital in 12 hours. It’s not like the old days. Laurie cut the cord, Will stayed cool and they are getting really good at this. The cord was sent out to the deep freeze for future use for DNA and stem cell usage. Here are some pix at:

As for me I got an extra couple of MELD points. So I am next to go. #1 for sure. All is well.

Stay tuned!!!!

  1. Congratulations, Grandpa!

I know you just didn’t want to upstage the momentous event by doing the liver thing. October 12 is my bet………………………just a hunch.

Take care and enjoy that little one!

  2. To be fair, I got an early discharge from the hospital–IL requires insurance companies to cover 48 hours. I talked to my midwife and Simeon’s doctor in advance so that we would be prepared for an early discharge assuming baby and I were both healthy.
